Welcome!

This issue will be covering some of the current projects Phoenix Voyage is involved with or projects currently in development. We are receiving wonderful responses on the new look of the Phoenix Voyage website and encourage you to share with others. It is not easy gathering all this info and keeping it streamlined. Any suggestions are taken into consideration.

Africa:
We have been researching and networking in Africa for the past two years and that arm of Phoenix Voyage has a mind of its own to say the least. We now have partners in numerous countries and the Phoenix Voyage Humanitarian Initiative plan is cleaned up and ready to bring into the countries as a blueprint for sustainable communities to be set up. Each Center will be located in rural communities and work with groups of 200-1000 people depending on location and local support. We have received tremendous encouragement to continue development and are waiting on funds to start our first center.  http://www.pvhi.info/centers.html

In Uganda, we are working with Brother Frank from ZAYA and started a school one year ago with the hardest working and enthusiastic children! I am personally so proud of them and all their hard work. We received a $300 donation for Maize and Rice for food since the school now has 185 students!!! Any support you can give will help out a lot...books, clothing or school supplies. We have new partners in Malawi and can use some support there as well. Phoenix Voyage is working with SURCOD (Sustainable Rural Community  Development Organization) bringing inspiring solutions to Malawi. The vision of SURCOD is to empower and to advance rural initiatives to access basic needs which can improve livelihoods, self reliance as well as community participation. http://www.pvhi.info/malawi.html

In Ghana,  we are working with the Land-Safe Foundation and starting a Malaria Solutions Campaign. The document we are putting together will include numerous alternatives for treating malaria and any support you can help with is most welcomed.
